SALEMBURG
Mr. William Otto "Billy" Spell, 80 of Salemburg passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Zoar Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Barker and Rev. Casey Welker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Spell was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Lawrence Mack and Havens Williams Spell. He was a water plant mechanic with PWC of Fayetteville for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby Fann Spell of the home; two daughters, Debbie Medlin and husband, Lynn of Clinton and Carol Howard and husband, Ronnie of Autryville; one son, Don Spell and wife, Vickie of Salemburg; two sisters, Annette Renegar of Fayetteville and Betty Lois Stanley of Clinton; one brother, Charlie Spell of Stedman; three grandchildren, April Phillips, Ana Howard and Shannon New; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at the home.
