EASTOVER Mr. William "Bill" Autry, Jr., 71 of Eastover died January 10, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Williford officiating. Burial will follow in the Autry-McAlphin Cemetery. Mr. Autry was born on August 8, 1941 in Cumberland County to the late William and Dorothy Mae Autry. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Raymond Autry. He was a bus driver for Trailways for 25 years. He is survived by: his wife, Carol Autry of the home; two sons, Billy Autry and wife, Carmen of Latta, SC and Donald Fields and wife, Lori of Bentonville, NC; two daughters, Jessica Autry Long and husband, Mike of Fayetteville and Kimberly Draughon and husband, Eddie of Fayetteville; three sisters, Jean Peterson and husband, Jimmy of Greensboro, Rhonda Duffer and husband, Steve of Fayetteville and Della Turner of Greensboro; nine grandchildren, Aaron Autry, Aidan Autry, Ian Autry, Tori Pope, Victoria Long, Christopher Long, Ashley Samperton and husband, Kyle, April Byrd and fiance', Joe Saunders and Amanda Byrd; one great granddaughter, Chloe Saunders and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
