William Dock Autry, 85 of Autryville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, June 21, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
Mr. Autry was the son of the late Lester Autry and Luttie Tew Autry. He is also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Dale Hudson.
He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Jeffrey Autry; daughters, Michelle Haire and Sherry Ezzell; grandchildren, Marshall Ezzell, Christopher Hudson, Michael Hudson, Deana Autry, Brooke Haire, Ethan Hudson and Erica Sherrill; great grandchildren, Jake and Finn Ezzell; brothers, Douglas and Charles Autry; and sisters, Mable Hairr and Hilda Autry.
Dock was well known primarily due to his career of over 30 years as the owner of Autry Appliance Repair. He was also a United States Air Force Veteran. Dock will be remembered for his friendly and genuine personality.
