EASTOVER
Mrs. Willa Dean Tew, 71, of Eastover passed away Wednesday, February 4 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Henry M. Spell and Lola Inez Martin Spell. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Morrison Spell. She was a graduate of Roseboro-Salemburg High School.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 7 at Fayetteville Community Church with Revs. Ken and Wesley Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, Claude Tew of the home; daughter, Tracy Reep (husband Mike) of Eastover; son, Rodney Mac Tew of Fayetteville; brother, Henry M. Spell (wife Michelle) of Hope Mills; grandchildren, Steven Reep, Bekah Reep, Aubrey Reep, Taylor Tew and Jordan Tew; dog, Tobie Tew.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday, February 6 at Fayetteville Community Church.
