Willa Dean (Simmons) Sessoms

CLINTON Mrs. Willa Dean Sessoms, 87 of Clinton and formerly of Roseboro, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at The Magnolia of Clinton. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, 3645 Dunn Road, Roseboro, with Reverend Jim Brinkley officiating. She was born January 30, 1934 in Sampson County and was the daughter of Festus and Laudie Naylor Simmons.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Sessoms; and daughter, Angela Sessoms.  She was a retired Seamstress. She is survived by two sons, Roy Sessoms of Roseboro, Troy Sessoms of Roseboro; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Albert Simmons and wife Diane of Morehead City, Arnold Simmons and wife Rose of Roseboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday evening at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro. Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro is serving the family.
