Ms. Willa Ann (Chestnutt) Morris, 76 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at her home.

Willa Ann chose to do anatomical donation to help with scientific research, so no services will be held at this time.

She was born in Sampson County to the late, Arlie Alton Chestnutt and Lillie Mae Sinclair Chestnutt.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husbands, Ervin Smith and E.P. Morris; brother, Alton Chestnutt; and her sister, Frances Marie Chestnutt.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Nancy Tart of the home; and her brother, Arthur Glenn Chesnutt of Moncure.
