Mr. Wendell Ezzell, 66

ROSEBORO Mr. Wendell Ezzell, 66, of 48 Sawmill Lane, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 11:00 am at Mintz Baptist Church with Dr. John McBride officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Ezzell was a native of Sampson County. Mr. Ezzell is survived by: wife, Rebecca Ezzell, of the home; two sons, Darrell Ezzell, of Abington, Massachusetts and Sherrell Ezzell, of Graham, Texas; sister, Diane McMillan, of Fayetteville; brother, Thomas Ozell Ezzell, of Fayetteville; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Ashlee, Hailey, Emmalee and Kaleb. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
