Mrs. Wanda Hutsell (Taylor) Howell, 72 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Praise Fellowship Church of God, officiating will be Rev. Kevin Edwards and Rev. Lundy Logue.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the church prior to the service.

A graveside service will also be held on Tuesday at 3:00 PM at Shiloh Church Cemetery, 7793 Hallsboro Road South, Whiteville, NC  28472.

Wanda was born in Sampson County to the late Oliver Cleo Taylor and Mafalda Spell Taylor.  She is also preceded in death by five sisters; 2 brothers; and her first husband, Jim Hutsell.

She was a longtime member of Praise Fellowship Church of God.  She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Walter Preston Howell of the home; daughter, Tracey Hutsell Jose & husband, Edgardo of Greenville, NC, and James Hutsell & wife, Catherine of Raeford; grandchildren, Camerin Anderson of Cove City, NC, Benjamin Hutsell of Wilmington, and Steven Hutsell of Raeford; great grandchild, Reagan Watson; sisters, Elsie Fisher Child of Leland, and JoAnn Taylor Winders of Fayetteville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
