Wade Mitchell Faircloth, 76 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman by Rev. Andy Wood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Faircloth was a native of Sampson County, the son of Jesse and Mila Jackson Faircloth.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Loretta Spell Faircloth.  He was an Army veteran and a retired school teacher from the Cumberland County Schools.

He is survived by a son, Kevin Faircloth of Fayetteville; daughter, Ashley Durham and husband, Cameron of Aynor, SC; grandson, Jackson Wade Durham of Aynor, SC; brother, Weldon Faircloth and wife, Joyce of Autryville and his twin sister, Brenda Faircloth Smith and husband, Jack of Roseboro.
