Mrs. Vivian Williams Smith

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Vivian Williams Smith, 69, of 1634 Cedar Creek Rd. died Friday, July 4, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was co-owner and office manager of Massey Hill Drug Co. A native of Cumberland County, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Edwin Williams and Kathleen Clark Williams and a son, Albert Hunter Smith, II. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 7 at Judson Baptist Church with Pastor Barry Byrd and Dr. Mack Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Hunter Smith of the home; a daughter, Susan Hoover of Charlotte; a son, James H. Smith, Sr. of Fayetteville; a sister, Betty McCall of Stedman; a brother, Gerald Williams of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, Ashley Smith, James H. Smith, Jr., Hunter Smith, III, Charlie Smith, Matthew Hoover and Bradley Smith. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Sunday, July 6 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
