Mrs. Vivian Joyce Collier Jackson, 74 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Southwood Nursing Home in Clinton.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Eddie Smith and Pastor Ivan Dickey.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the funeral home.

Vivian was born in Sampson County to the late, Walter Haynes Collier and Thelma Ruth Autry Collier. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her son, Walter Collier; and her sisters, Rita Morrison and Elizabeth Barefoot.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert Jackson; sisters, Edna Dickey & husband, Ivan and Lydia Wrench; brother, Grady "GP"Collier & wife, Gail; step children, Robert Jackson, Jr. & wife, Dakota and Jamie Jackson Barefoot & husband, Ronnie; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
