Mrs. Vivian Estelle Beasley Owens, 81 of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Duke Raleigh Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 17 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Tom Hayes officiating.  Entombment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 -11:50 AM on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Owens was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Lawrence Belton and Irene Faircloth Beasley.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ray Beasley.  She was employed as a nursing assistant for a while and retired from the Little Cotton Mfg.   In recent years she worked at the Beatitude House in Roseboro.

She is survived by her husband, Cloys Owens of the home; son, Kenneth Owens and wife, Anita of Salemburg; three grandchildren, Kassie Johnson and husband, Dustin, Kyndall Williams and husband, Jacob and Katelynn Owens; one great grandchild, Harper Johnson.
