Mrs. Virginia H. Autry, 88

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Virginia Gray Horne Autry, 88 of 2111 Henry Street, died on Friday, October 8, 2010 at her home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Maurice Lancaster and Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow at George Horne Cemetery in Autryville. Mrs. Autry was born on September 6, 1922 in Sampson County to the late Almond and Gertie Hall Horne. She is preceded in death by her husband, William D. Autry. She was a homemaker. She is survived by: two sons, Gary C. Autry and wife, Linda of Florida and Glenn Reid Autry of Fayetteville; one daughter, Sandra Autry Lunsford of Hope Mills; two grandchildren, Mary Baxley Aguirre and Heather D. Lunsford; two great grandchildren, Jaymie Baxley and Delia C. Salazar. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 1 to 2 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at home.
