ROSEBORO Mr. Vincent Carlisle, Jr., 74 of 2760 Microwave Tower Road, Roseboro, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at his home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Carlisle was born on September 4, 1937 in Sampson County to the late Vincent and Frankie Snipes Carlisle, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Inez Lucas Carlisle. He worked as a Kiln Operator with Boren Brick Company. He is survived by: three children, Brenda C. Hall of the home, Ronnie V. Carlisle and wife, Teresa of Clinton, and Connie C. Hall and husband, Billy of Roseboro; one brother, Clarence Oliver "Buddy" Carlisle and wife, Merita "PeeWee" of Roseboro; five grandchildren, Scotty, Brandy, Alecia, Buffi and Devin; and three great grandchildren, Tyler, Blaine and Alexandrea. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:30 to 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2300 Pleasant Union Road, Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
