Mrs. Vicki Lynn Wilson Edwards, 73 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Darian Parker and Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating. The burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:50 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Edwards was native of Wayne County, the daughter of Arthur and Lorene Wiggs. She was preceded in death by her parents. She worked EMTD with the Roseboro Rescue and worked with Sampson Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, George Edwards of the home; daughter, Liane Mixon and husband, David of Autryville; son, Tommy Edwards and wife, Tracie  of Pearl River, LA; two brothers, T.B. Wilson and wife, Pam of Zebulon, NC; and Burl Wilson and wife, Dianne of Lakeland, FL; six grandchildren, Ashley Robinson (Donovan), Brittney Carter (Brandon), Courtney Mixon, Delaney Mixon, Natalie Edwards and Carlton Edwards; five great-grandchildren, Brycen Carter, Brayden Carter, Kynadee Robinson, Grayson Mixon, Karsyn Robinson; special grandson, John Sadler; three special granddaughters, Rebecca McLamb, Kloey Bradybaugh and Olivia Taylor and numerous adopted grandchildren.
