Mrs. Verna Ellen West, 84, died May 10, 2013, at Woodlands Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. West was born on April 28, 1929, in Bladen County to the late Avon and Gertrude Davis.
She is survived by her sister, Vivian Douglas of Fayetteville and her brother, Ted Davis of Fayetteville.
There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Sharon Baptist Church cemetery at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Larry West officiating.
