Mrs. Velma Albertson Kennedy, 81

STEDMAN Mrs. Velma Albertson Kennedy, 81, of 7284 Clinton Rd. passed away Monday, January 19 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a homemaker.  A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late George Albertson and Emma Miller Albertson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 24 at Stedman Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Spears officiating.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her husband, Raymond A. Kennedy of the home; son, Barry Kennedy of North Charleston, SC; daughters, Debbie Herndon of Hope Mills and Sherry (Cookie) Miranda of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from  7 to 9 P.M., Friday, January 23 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
