Mr. Tyson Williams, 72, of Salemburg, passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 in Santa Barbara, California.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 3 PM at Butler Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Salemburg Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was the son of the late Jessie and Carrie Horne Williams. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Jadie and Scott Williams, all of Autryville; his sisters, Mavis Croom of Fayetteville, Cletha Wallace, of Autryville and Gertrude Starling, of Charlestown, MD.
Mr. Williams is survived by: longtime companion, Alice Faircloth, of Salemburg; son, Joel Williams, of Fayetteville; daughter, Cyndie Young and husband Kenny and their children, Sydney and Zackary, all of Santa Barbara; sister, Mary Jewel Simmons and husband Ashley of Autryville; brother, C.A. Williams and wife Frances, of Autryville; sister-in-law, Lettie Lou Tyndall, of Autryville; brother-in-law, Jessie Croom of Fayetteville; 30 nieces and nephews. Also surviving are the children and grandchildren of Alice Faircloth, whom he considered his own, Judy Hernandez and husband Bob and their daughter Jessie, Frances Sessoms and husband Howard, and Ricky Faircloth and wife Susie and their sons, Eric and Shawn, all of Salemburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night, May 30, 2006 from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
