Mr. Troy Franklin Strickland, 86

CLINTON

Mr. Troy Franklin Strickland, 86 of Clinton and formerly of Roseboro, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Magnolia Assisted Living in Clinton.

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 8, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Cyndi McClendon officiating. Burial will follow at the Sandy Horne Cemetery, Autryville.

He was born June 13, 1929 in Robeson County to the late Lonnie B. and Ada Sander Strickland. He was a farmer.

He is survived by one sister, Jessie Nunnery of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm Friday, April 8, at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, and other times at 182 Saddle Club Road, Autryville.
