Mrs. Treva Horne-Baker, 88

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Treva White Horne-Baker of Benson, NC (formerly of Erwin) passed away on Saturday, October 25 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Treva was born in Robeson County on July 2, 1920 to the late John W. and Ancie Allen White. She was educated in Robeson and Cumberland County Schools. Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Pat Ann Matthews and husband David of Fayetteville and Judy Carolyn Anderson and husband Gilbert of Fayetteville and a grandson, Joel Kevin Tew of Stedman and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by husbands, Boyce S. Baker and Claude B. Horne; three brothers and two sisters, Wilbur White of Stedman, Milton of Stedman and Memory of Newport News, Va. and Sadie Melvin-Core and Irene McAlpin of Stedman. She attented the Kingdom Halls of Jehovah Witnesses in Dunn and Fayetteville. Her life revolved around her faith in Jehovah God and her family. Sharing God's word with all she met was her life-long mission, one that she carried out to the end. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M., Monday, October 27 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28 at 3:00 P.M. in Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with burial to follow in Autry-McAlphin Cemetery in Stedman Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home of Stedman
