FAYETTEVILLE
Mrs. Treasure Ivey Freeman, 99, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, May 12 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a homemaker. She was born in Harnett County to the late Young Edward Ivey and Maude Mueller Kirby. She had resided in recent years at Village Green in Fayetteville. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Clarence Freeman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 15 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Sherill Boykin officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by two sons, Samuel Freeman, Jr. (wife Rachel) of Fayetteville and William Douglas Freeman (wife Jan) of Newton, N.C.; two daughters, Frankie Freeman of Fayetteville and Becky Ehinger (husband Mike) of Stedman; seven grandchildren and five great grandsons.
