Mr. Tony Keith Knowles, 53

SALEMBURG Mr. Tony Keith Knowles, 53 of 2345 N. Salemburg Highway, Salemburg, died on Monday, February 17, 2014 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church cemetery in Salemburg. Mr. Knowles was born on June 28, 1960 in Sampson County to the late Fermon and Elizabeth Ann Faircloth Knowles. He worked as a Carpenter. He is survived by: one son, Brandon Knowles of Salemburg; two brothers, Elton Knowles and Lynn Knowles both of Salemburg; and his life-long companion, Sharon King of Clinton. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
