CLINTON
Mr. Tony Ray Adams, 48 of 2287 The Avenue, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his home.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Honeycutt officiating.
Mr. Adams was born in 1960 in Sampson County to the late Nathan Chester and Patricia Greene Adams. He was self employed in the Logging Industry.
Mr. Adams is survived by: his wife, Janet Lynn Spell Adams of Clinton; four daughters, Loretta Adams, Jessica Adams Cook and husband Thomas, Candice Adams, and Britnie Adams, all of Clinton; one grandchild, Logan Trogdon; three sisters, Belinda Cheryl Faulkner of Erwin, Rosie Adams of Roseboro, and Natha Shipshock of Columbia, S.C.; one niece, Heather F. Pope; and five nephews, Adam Faulkner, Austin Faulkner, Dustin Faulkner, Myles Shipshock, and Brenden Shipshock.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 7 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to 2520 McKenzie Road, Clinton, N.C. 28328 to help offset funeral costs.
