Mr. Tonto Morrison, 74

Mr. Tonto Morrison, 74, of Fayetteville died Monday, January 12 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a retired truck driver. Mr. Morrison was born in Cumberland County to the late Carson Issac Morrison and Terah Jacobs Morrison. He attended East Carolina Indian School.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 14 at Cape Fear Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Groves and Rev. Bruce Swett officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher Douglas Morrison (wife Loretta) of Autryville and Danny Lee Morrison (wife Goldia) of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Sheldon Blake Morrison (wife Brittney) of Roseboro, Travis Walker of Stedman, Jamie Lee Morrison of Kings Bay,Georgia and Christine Emma Morrison of Fayetteville; two great grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Morrison and Carson Blake Morrison; one sister, Joyce Bensihle of Fayetteville and a host host of family and friends.
