Mr. Tommy Nelson Cain

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Tommy Nelson Cain, 63, of 117 Cross Anchor Dr., Fayetteville, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at his residence. He was retired from Puraltor where he worked as a mechanic in the maintenance department. Mr. Cain was a native of Cumberland County and was the son of Evander Cain and Mary Goodrich Cain. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 15 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Randall Strickland and Rev. Frank Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery. Mr. Cain is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Cain of the home; son, James Melvin of Fayetteville; daughters. Deborah Sutton and Joy Wrench of Fayetteville; sisters, Margaret Collier of Fayetteville, Sherry Vickers of Hope Mills, Linda Gomez of Chesterfield, Va., Vickie Hoyt of Three Rivers, Mi.; brothers, Gene Cain of Three Rivers, Mi., Jimmy Cain of Ft. Leavenworth, Ka., Charles Cain of Tocomma, Wash.; three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M., Wednesday, November 14 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
