Mr. Tom Marsh Freeman, Jr., 82 of Stedman went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2024 at The Church at Cedar Creek with the Bishop Randall Hunt officiating. The burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:50 PM on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Freeman was a native of Cumberland County, the son of Tom Marsh Freeman, Sr., and Rachel Laverne Crumpler Freeman.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty W. Freeman; his sister, Annette Freeman Bullock; and his brother, Charles Lloyd Freeman;

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Tom Marsh Freeman III and wife, Jeannette; and John Cleveland Freeman and wife, Lawanna; five grandchildren, Brittany Odom and husband, Travis; Lexus Freeman, John Cody Freeman, Alicia Freeman and Ty Kash Freeman; four brothers, James Robert Freeman, John Lonnie Freeman, Jessie Wesley Freeman and Richard Earl Freeman; and his sister, Rachel Freeman Offenstein.
