Thomas Tilton Pope, age 47, passed away after a lengthy battle with ALS on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at his home, in Roseboro. Born on February 16, 1978, in Clinton, NC.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Carolyn Pope of Roseboro, two sons, Adam T. and Ayden X. Pope both of Garland, NC, one brother, Victor Pope (Tammy) of Roseboro, two nieces and one nephew, and was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A Graveside Memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, at 4:00 pm.

Reverend John Hobbs officiated the services. Words of Reflection were spoken by his dear friend and friend to the end, Tim McDonald.

Tilton will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Amedisys Hospice Staff and his nurse, Imani; and to his “Spa Ladies” Chanda and Miranda for all of the loving care given to Tilton.
