FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Thomas Anthony Smith, 46, of 6400 Cedar Creek Rd., passed away Thursday, June 3, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a self-employed brick mason. A native of Cumberland County, he was the son of Mr. Thomas Edward Smith and Mary Ann Faulkner Smith of Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, June 7, at Live Oak Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Reaves and Rev. Elaine Swett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Smith is survived by his parents, Thomas E. Smith and Mary Ann Smith of Fayetteville; his brother, Brian Scott Smith (wife Nydzia) of Fayetteville; two children, Morgan Nicole Smith and Paul Anthony Smith, both of Fayettteville; a neice, Sarah Smith of Fayetteville.
