Mr. Thomas R. Sessoms, 44

ROSEBORO Mr. Thomas Raeford Sessoms, 44 of 315 Josh Sessoms Road, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at 3:00 pm at the Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School Gymnasium with the Rev. Jeff Bartlett and Rev. Jesse Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the Sessoms-Peterson Cemetery. Mr. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Abner R. and Annie J. Brock Sessoms. He was a teacher with the Sampson County Schools for 19 years and at the time of his illness was employed at Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School. Mr. Sessoms is survived by: two sisters, Bonnie Sessoms, of Roseboro and Vonita Sessoms, of Goldsboro; niece, Connie Duke, of Abilene, TX; and many special friends and co-workers. The family will receive friends on Saturday night, Nov. 21, 2009 from 7 till 9 pm at the Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School Gymnasium. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
