FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Thomas R. Bullard, Jr., 84 of 597 Judson Church Road, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at the Cross Creek Cemetery in Fayetteville, with military honors. Mr. Bullard was born on October 27, 1925 in Cumberland County to the late Thomas R. and Ethel Palmer Bullard, Sr. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a lifelong businessman in Fayetteville. Mr. Bullard is survived by: his wife, Annie Ruth Bullard of the home; two sons, Jim Bullard and wife Jennifer, of Hope Mills, and Clay Bullard and wife Marsha, of Fayetteville; one step-daughter, Beverly Sabol of Florida; one step-son, Lyndon Brown of Autryville; a special daughter-in-law, Brenda W. Turriff of Fayetteville; two sisters, Betty Dumas and Bobby Threatt; two brothers, William Bullard and Harold Bullard; and four granddaughters, Kasey Bullard, Jenna Bullard, Hollie Ellinwood, and Kellie Markovich.
