WHITE OAK Mrs. Thelma Jessup Edge Dockery, 89, of 10627 River Road, White Oak, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Poplar Heights Care & Rehabilitation Center in Elizabethtown. The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Cumberland Union Baptist Church with Rev. John Blackman, Jr and Rev. Jerry Hood officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Dockery was born on March 24, 1922, in Cumberland County to the late Ava Lee Edge and Mary Charlotte Bedsole Edge. She is survived by four sons, Robert David Dockery of Montana, Phillip Dockery of White Oak, Kirby Lloyd Dockery of White Oak and Daniel Grey Dockery of White Oak, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Cumberland Union Baptist Church, 6957 Tabor Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
