Mr. Ted Maxton Bunce,, 77 Sr.

STEDMAN Mr. Ted Maxton Bunce, Sr., 77 of 142 Euclid Street, Stedman, died on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at his home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Stedman Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Spears and Dr. Dearl Bunce officiating. Burial will follow at the Fisher Cemetery in Stedman. Mr. Bunce was born on July 25, 1934 in Cumberland County to the late Walter L. and Catherine Molcie Williams Bunce. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ann McCall Bunce. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a farmer. He is survived by: his daughter, Sheila Kimbel and husband, Steve of St. Charles, MO; two sons, Ted Maxton Bunce, Jr. and wife, Deborah and Jeffrey Bunce and wife, Lisa both of Stedman; three sisters, Dorothy McKeithan of Fayetteville, Ettrice Strickland and Adel Johnson both of Stedman; three brothers, Broadus Bunce of Florida, Randall Bunce of Columbia, S.C. and Dearl Bunce of Lexington; and nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stedman Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 190, Stedman, NC 28391.
