Mr. Tause Butler Horne, 99

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Tause Butler Horne, 99 of 2036 John Hall Road, died on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Burial will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Horne was born in 1911 in Cumberland County to the late Enoch and Mary Horne. He is preceded in death by his wife, Victor Elizabeth Spell Horne. He was a retired Master Carpentry Instructor with Ft. Bragg Project Transition. He is survived by: two sons, Jackie Horne and wife Agnes of Hope Mills and Bruce Horne and wife Shelby of Fayetteville; two daughters, Joyce Hughes and husband Alvis and Eva Kate Horne both of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren, Darhyl Horne, Christy Privette, Kelly Lucero, Brandy Horne, Danny Hughes, Wayne Hughes and Howard Hughes; 12 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
