AUTRYVILLE Mr. Tate Edison "Eddie" Hall, 60 of 1721 South River Road died on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Spell officiating. Burial will follow at the Daniel Hall Cemetery in Autryville. Mr. Hall was born on October 2, 1949 in Sampson County to the late Avner Tate and Merlene Spell Hall. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Lemuel Autry. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and was a graduate of Clement High School and Atlantic Christian College. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, and will be dearly missed by his entire family and friends. He was parts manager for Martin's Abbatoir of Godwin. Mr. Hall is survived by: his wife Janice Hall of the home; one daughter, Anna Hall Caudle and husband, James of Autryville; four sisters, Clethie Hall and Jewel Nunnery of Stedman, Idell Tew and husband, Jerry of Durham and Brenda Hall Alfano and husband, Jerry of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha and Christopher; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at the home.
