Mr. Tarry Maurice Faircloth, 53 of Stedman, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tate Faircloth and Frances Emily Bicker Godwin.

Tarry was an avid sports fan, especially the Carolina Tarheels. He was also a Cincinnati Reds baseball fan and a Miami Dolphins fan. He loved cooking, especially grilling and he was well known for his Super Bowl cheese dip. He was a proud and dedicated father who loved to watch his son play sports.

He was fun loving and would do anything for anybody and he will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Pastor Lynn McLaurin.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 5:50pm before the service at the funeral home, and at other times at 6420 Blake Rd. Stedman.

He is survived by his son, Spencer Tate Faircloth; sisters, Tana F. Melvin & husband, Robert and Aimee R. Yoder & husband, Bradford; niece, Teva F. Melvin and nephew, Aaron B. Yoder.
