Mr. Talmadge Dwight Dale, 69 of Roseboro went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Howard Smith officiating. The burial will follow at Roberts Grove OFWB Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mr. Dale was a native of Sampson County, the son of Marvin Felton and Pennie Tew Dale. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dwight drove a truck for Walmart.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Linda Holland Dale of the home; three daughters, Lesley Harrell and husband, Jon of Ayden; Melissa Altier and husband, Rob of Stedman; and Shannon New and husband, Delbert of Roseboro; eight grandchildren, Heather Penn (Cody), Anthony Hernandez (Tionna), Dakota Gordon, Austin Gordon, Nickolas New, Hailey New, Robbie Altier and Matthew Altier; his brother, M.F. Dale of Dunn; and two grand dogs, Harley and Jojo.
