Mrs. Sybil Mae Mccormick, 87

EASTOVER Mrs. Sybil Mae Hair McCormick, 87, of 2112 Daniels St., died Friday, October 28 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of the late James S. Hair and Flonnie Carter Hair. She was also predeceased by her husband, James A. McCormick and a daughter, Barbara. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 30 at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy in Stedman. A funeral service will be held at the church at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Donald Baldwin and the Rev. Tim Gore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. McCormick is survived by daughters, Kaye Smith and husband, Jim and Lola Martinez and husband, Louis, all of Eastover; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Building Fund, Hwy. 210 South, Stedman, NC 28391.
