Ms. Susan Carol (Johnson) Trueblood, 80 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. Randy Moore.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the service.

Due to COVID restrictions, the family asks that all who attend wear a mask.

Susan was born in Cumberland County to the late Iredo L. Johnson and Annie Carter.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, David Trueblood; and her brother, James Johnson.

She was a lifetime member of Macedonia Baptist Church, having gone there when she was a child.  She loved to read the Bible, having read it cover to cover several times.  In addition to being a member of the church, she also was in the Senior Citizen Group, Hospitality Committee, and taught Sunday School Classes.  Susan also retired with over 40 years of service with Carolina Telephone Company.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters, Helen Hubbard & husband, Granger of Fayetteville, and Faye Autry of Stedman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's honor to Macedonia Baptist Church, 5064 Macedonia Church Road, Fayetteville, NC  28312.
