Mrs. Sue Catherine White Rogers, 79

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Sue Catherine White Rogers, 79 of 302 Church Street, Salemburg, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at The Gardens of Roseboro.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 30, at Salemburg Baptist Church, 300 N. Main Street, Salemburg. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Born June 6, 1939 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of Lyman and Irene Tart White. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Rogers; two sisters, Lula Sanderson, Ann Hairr; two brothers, Frank White, Rev. Roger White. She retired as Office Manager with Denny Plywood.

She is survived by one son, William Rogers of Salemburg; two grandchildren, Ethan Rogers of Wilmington, Emma Rogers of Ramseur; one sister, Carrie Norton and husband, Gene of Jacksonville, Fl; one sister-in-law, Mildred White of Roseboro.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday, June 29, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at her home.
