Mr. Stewart Ogden Bullard, 84

STEDMAN

Mr. Stewart Ogden Bullard, 84 of Stedman, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fayetteville.

He was born November 3, 1932 in Cumberland County, and is preceded in death by his parents, John Fleet and Emma Jane Edge Bullard; two sisters; and one brother. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and worked as a Terminal Manager with Holcim, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Bullard; son, Ogden F. Bullard of Stedman; foster-daughter, Marie Smith and husband Terry of Stedman; foster-grandchildren, Beverly Hale, and Gerald Davis, Jr.; and foster-great grandchildren, Layla Hale, Corbin Hale, and Brooke Davis "Grandpa's Wild Cat".

The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 22, at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, with Reverend Larry McWhorter and Reverend William Maness officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Salemburg.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday, February 21, at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, and other times at the home of Marie and Terry Smith, 147 Mary McCall Road, Stedman.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
