Mr. Stephen Michael Hales, 71 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Steve Kirk and Rev. David Parker. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Hales Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion McKinnis Hales and Eula Maye Hales; brothers, Marion Wayne Hales and Roy Timothy Hales; and his sister, Judy Hales Williams.
He was in the United States Army National Guard.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Grace Hales; son, Stephen “Mickey” Hales (Dixie); daughters, Stephanie Hales & Connie Hales (Jose); grandchildren, Jonathan Nunnery, Stephen Hales II, Makenzie Hales, Isabella Montanez-Hales, Gabriel Montanez-Hales and Sophia Montanez-Hales; sisters, Audrey Horne and Gloria Reynolds (Robert); brother, John Brent Hales; sister-in-law, Cecelia Hales; and many nieces and nephews.
