STEDMAN Mr. Stanley Durwood Collier, 50 of 2046 Wade-Stedman Road, died on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The family will be gathering at the home of his daughter, Victoria Collier, 2647 Wade-Stedman Rd., Stedman, NC. Services will be held Wednesday, August 7, at 3:00 PM in South River Community Church with Rev. Lynn McLaurin officiating. Burial will follow in McMillian Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road in Stedman. Mr. Collier was born on May 23, 1963 in Cumberland County to the late Jarvis Talmadge and Polly Ann Kirby Collier. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Dalton Collier. He worked as a Manufacturing Technician with Goodyear Tire Company. He is survived by: one daughter, Victoria Collier of Stedman; one son, Raymond Collier of Stedman; one sister, Sharon Renee Collier of Stedman; two grandchildren, Callie Collier and Riley Collier; and his beloved dog, Nugget.
