SSGT Randall Matthew Gabbert, 61, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2024 surrounded by his family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church (2271 Autry Mill Road, Godwin, NC 28344) with Pastor Mark Fields officiating.
Mr. Gabbert was a native of Greenbrier County, WV. He was the son of Matthew William and Lorraine Edna Kellison Gabbert. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Rose Gabbert; and two brothers, Mike Gregory and Tim Gregory.
Randall was veteran of the U.S. Air Force for 12 years. He attended Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church and he was saved. Randall was also a musician and he loved God and his country dearly. He was loved by all who knew him and he loved with his whole heart.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Randi Gabbert; two step-sons, David Burdyck of Georgia; and Roberto Marin, Jr. of Fayetteville; his step-daughter, Jennifer Kirby of Salemburg; his sister, Norma Gabbert of West Virginia; his brother, Kevin Gregory of West Virginia; three nieces, Christina Gurganus of West Virginia; Leanne Gabbert; and Sharon Gabbert of Snow Camp; and his nephew, Samuel Gregory of West Virginia.
