AUTRYVILLE
Mr. Solomon James "S.J." Faircloth, 75, of 205 W. Clinton Street, Autryville, NC, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 2 PM at Autryville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Long and Rev. Richard Spell officiating. Burial will follow in the Autryville Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
Mr. Faircloth was born in Sampson County to the late Edgar Byron and Ida Autry Faircloth. He was an Air Force Veteran, worked in machine maintenance with Civil Service before retiring. He was a member of Autryville Baptist Church, a member of the Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 585 and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Autryville Fire Department.
Mr. Faircloth is survived by: wife, Vernice F. Faircloth, of the home; daughter, Jeanette Herring, of Roseboro; son, Jackie Faircloth, of Autryville; two sisters, Ossie McLamb, of Autryville and Bessie Autry, of Hoover, Alabama; four grandchildren, Nichole F. Marochack, Jonathan Faircloth, James Herring and Michael Herring.
The family will recieve friends Tuesday night from 7 till 9 pm at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman.
