Mrs. Shirley R. Jackson, 59

ROSEBORO Mrs. Shirley Rose Jackson, 59 of 1854 Horse Pasture Road, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Robert's Grove Original Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was born on October 18, 1950 in Harnett County to the late James Carl and Ola Mae Lee Jernigan. She worked as a Wire Wrapper with the Telephone Industry. Mrs. Jackson is survived by: her husband, Wiley Dixon Jackson of the home; two sons, Jimmy McClenny and wife, Karen of Roseboro, and Allen McClenny and wife, Kim of Beulaville; four sisters, Mallie Tyndall of Dunn, Hazel Seals of Virginia Beach, VA, Elizabeth Pope and Brenda Sinclair both of Clinton; two brothers, J.D. Jernigan of Lyman, SC, and Jerry Jernigan of Godwin; four granddaughters, Amanda, Tiffany, Jamie and Shonnon; and one grandson, Garrett. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
