Mrs. Shirley Hayes Ammons, 80

ROSEBORO

Mrs. Shirley Hayes Ammons, 80 of 818 Reeda Branch Road, Roseboro, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Hollands Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Billy Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Born on February 6, 1936 in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late O.D. and Nira Page Hayes. She is also preceded in death by her son, William Patrick Tyndall; and brothers, Delbert Hayes, and Buck Hayes. She retired from Good Hope Hospital.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry McLamb and husband Roger Iverson of Roseboro, and Becky Ammons of Erwin; grandchildren, Catina Iverson and husband Reggie of Roseboro, Mary McLamb and husband John of Roseboro, Shirley Brooke McLamb and husband Steven of Roseboro, and Brian Ammons of Erwin; and four great grandchildren, Dylan Iverson, Kaylyn Iverson, John Nelson McLamb, and Sheriana McLamb.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 am Tuesday prior to the service.
