Mr. Shelton Woodall, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Robert Oliver.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Shelton was born on September 13, 1957 to his parents, Shelton Eugene Woodall, Sr. and Ann Harrington Woodall.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his son, Eric Woodall; and two granddaughters, Sophie and Ruby Day.

Shelton was an active member of Clinton Church of Christ.  Shelton also had a passion for bowling, and was a prominent fixture at Lafayette Lanes in Fayetteville.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brenda D. Woodall of the home; children, Brian Woodall, Sr. & wife, Kristin, Tara Barbour, Brittany Day & husband, Joe all of Fayetteville, and Selena Cruse of Moorehead City, NC; mother, Ann Harrington Woodall; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Johnny Woodall & wife, LaRhonda of Dunn; and a sister, Pam Powers & husband, Raymond of Erwin.
