FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Sheila Carter McLaurin, 45 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 525 Judson Church Road with Richard C. Yarborough officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her husband, Timothy McLaurin of the home; step daughter, Valencia McLaurin of Fayetteville; mother, Francine C. Carter and father, Robert L. Carter both of Fayetteville; three sisters, Deborah Cogdell and husband, Ray of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Michele McCrimmon and husband, Michael of Fayetteville and Shirley Braggs of Redlands, CA; two brothers, Steven Lawrence Carter and wife, Pondanesa of Fayetteville and Martez Lawrence Jones of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC.
