Mr. Shawn Maclee West, 63 of Roseboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Southwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Andy Wood officiating. The burial will follow at West Family Cemetery, 3777 Huntley School Road, Roseboro.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. West was a native of Sampson County, the son of Jesse Mac and May Blondell McLamb West. He was preceded in death by his father; his daughter, Casey Luada West; and his sister, Sharon West Stumpf.

He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, William West of Hickory; Andrew West (Casey) of Hickory; and Chris Helms (Krystyna) of Arizona; three grandchildren, Jayden, Kayleigh and Reign; his mother and step-father, May Blondell McLamb West Cain and Husband, Tommy Cain of Roseboro; two brothers, Sheldon West; and Sherill West (Sheila); brother-in-law, John Stumpf; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great nephews.
