Mrs. Sharon Suggs Gore, 65

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Sharon Suggs Gore, 65 of 3845 N. Salemburg Highway, Salemburg, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday, January 29, at Corinth Baptist Church, 991 Corinth Church Road, Roseboro, with Pastor W.A. Creech and Pastor Wilbur Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Born September 4, 1952 in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Simon P. and Margaret Thompson Suggs. She was self-employed and worked as a child care provider.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Sam Gore of the home; her son, William Simon "Bill" Gore of the home; her granddaughter, Haley Shea Gore; one brother, Simon C. Suggs of Wilmington; and three sisters, Delores Medlin of Wilmington, Carolyn Hewlett of Rocky Point and Peggy Spencer of Wilmington.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Sunday, January 28, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
